Viva Cristo Rey

Handmade wool blend felt banner with "Viva Cristo Rey" which translates to "Long Live Christ the King". This was a well known battle cry of Mexican Catholics during violent state sanctioned anti-Catholic persecution in Mexico during the 1920s.

“¡Viva Cristo Rey!” was last on the lips of many Mexican martyrs, and it's message speaks to the bravery and faith of their culture during a period of fierce persecution and beyond.

Metal grommets in top corners for easy hanging.

Measurements: 14x17 inches

Banners are loosely rolled in a mailing tube for shipment, and the fabric will relax and flatten quickly once it is removed. In the case of small creases, you can iron with care on a low heat setting.

If you're gifting and would like a hand written note included, just let me know in the checkout process and I will be happy to help! (Gift messages are unavailable for prints.)
