Viva Cristo Rey

$55.00

Handmade wool blend felt banner with "Viva Cristo Rey" which translates to "Long Live Christ the King". This was a well known battle cry of Mexican Catholics during violent state sanctioned anti-Catholic persecution in Mexico during the 1920s.

“¡Viva Cristo Rey!” was last on the lips of many Mexican martyrs, and it's message speaks to the bravery and faith of their culture during a period of fierce persecution and beyond.
